"Wishing Wings"
I wish I had two big strong wings that are white as snow. They keep me warm during the winter and stay cool in the summer. When winter comes my big strong feathery wings will wrap around me to keep me warm and cozy, therefore theres no need to shivered in the cold winter. In the summer I travel by air where it makes breezes of cool wind, with the fresh smell of nature around me it gives me the special ability to fly as high as I can and as far as I want.

A Bunny For A Change
I still remember the time when my mom came home from the garden and was holding something fluffy with two ears popping out. We all was excited to see what it was, so we asked my mom, "what is it?" She than handed the fluffy thing to my little sisiter and said, "it's a jack rabbit and I caught it at the garden." We all was shocked, excited and, very happy to have a rabbit for a family pet. The rabbit's house was a cage and all my family members took turns feeding it. We feared that our pet rabbit would ran away, so we dare not let it out of the cage. The only place that we would allow the little rabbit to run loose was our bedroom. Yep, thats the only spot that it can run, hop, and play loose all day long. We raised the rabbit for about a month until it dissapear. I guess someone forgot to closed up the cage and it run away. It got all of my little brothers and sisters sad because it was the first pet rabbit we ever had. After our pet rabbit was missing for a few days, my parents bought a rabbit from the store to replace our missing rabbit. Now we all can be happy again.

"One Man's Kids"
Daniel Meier is a teacher and teaches first grade in an elementary school. He likes working with childerns and spends his time encouraging , supporting, consoling, and prasing them. He would bandage a cut, dry a tear, erase a frown, and tape a doll instead of teaching reading and spelling. when his students groan, laugh, cry, exult, and wonder, he would do the same too. The reasons he choose to teach young childern is because he wanted to observe and contribute to the intellectual growth of a maturing mind. He also love helping childerns to learn how to write his or her first name for their first time and finding someone a new friend. He liked taking care of childerns and being their for them when they needed him and that is why he'd enjoy doing his job so much.

The Perfect day
It was a beautiful sunny day at the beach and the weather was warm and cozy which is just the perfect day for swimming in the ocean. As I sat on the sandy beach and dug my feet inside the soft sand trying to keep it warm, I found a broken shell laying next to me. I reach out to grab it, but the little creature in it took it's shell and ran off. Then I started for a walk on the shore looking for more sea shells. I loved to collect sea shells and bring them home with me. They make beautiful necklace and if I found a big shell I would put it near my ears and listen to the sound of ocean waves inside. I also loved to play with the ocean's wave by chasing it back and forth. Sometimes I let the waves carry me away in the ocean and getting all my cloths wet. I can taste the saltiness of the water from the ocean as the waves splash into my face. The waves was stronger than it looks because it droves me away from the shore. when the water is up to my chest, I could hear my heart pounding very fast. I also tried to run quickly in the water before the next wave can reach me. When I made it to the shore I saw a star fish laying down on the sand. I didn't dare to touch it because I was afriad it would stick to my face. Soon it was getting dark and the sun was setting. The sunset was the most beautiful thing I've ever saw as I lay there on my blanket and the ocean breeze came over me as my body shiverd, I'd grab for my jacket and put it on me and than headed home.
JOURNAL#20
I was born in Laos before my parents took us here to the United States. I was still a baby back then, so now I don't remember anything from the past. Only stories that were told by my parents about their past history in Laos and in Thailand. How they struggle through hard times and lived their lives as farmers. They didn't have cars, shoes, and watches, nothing at all like now days. All their houses were build by hands and they used their feet to travel everywhere they go. Everyday they work hard even if it rains or shines. They even have to do their daily chores such as gathering woods, feed their pets, and cooking. Who ever work hard in their village are likely more success. Everyone is happy how they've lived their lives because there is no one to take control over them. They have their own freedom and can do what ever to help their lives go by easier. Although they have no education, they've have self respect, loyalty, and self courage. My father always tell me that the only way to be seccessful is to be helpful and help each other. It doesn't matter where we come from, the most important thing is who we are this will keep our religion staying the same.

My Dream Vacation
My dream vacation will be at a peacfull and quite place, where I could relax and get to enjoy all the fun and exciment time. It will be like heaven in paradis, where there is no worries and distraction. No one to bother and tell me what to do. I will be the boss of my self and get all the freedom I need. I feel like I has finally get to spread my wings and fly away from the cage that had kept me in there for so long. The dream of my vacation will be the most beautiful place ever where there is fresh spring water running down the mountains. There, I can see the blue clear sky full of singing birds and beautiful flowers all around the places. Myself laying down on the green grass surrounded with colorful flowers all around me. I could feel the wind blowing through my face and smell the freshness air of the spring flowers. As the wind blows I could hear the flowers whisper in my ears and the tips of the grass tickles my toes. While the birds sings, I closes my eyes and imagine me standing on the tip of the highest mountains and spread my wings and fly with the winds.

Memories Flies By
At the age of six, hide-and-seek was one of my favorite childhood game. I was breathing hard from runing and hiding from my friend as we were playing hide-and-seek. The sun's ray was beaming straight into my eyes, brightens my visions as I kept on reaching and reaching for the sun. I wanted to reach it and hide behind it so that they can't find me. Hiding behind the sun makes me feel safe and by knowing that in this game they will never going to find me, because the sun is going to block me from them. As I try to reach higher and higher, it seems like it's moving farther and farther away from me, but I just kept on moving for it. I could feel the sweat on my body and the hot warm heat surrounding me like I'm in a cooking oven. I closed my eyes tightly reaching up to the sky aming at the sun, I could see the bright lights colors, and feels the heat buring my face. For a moment, I seem to move forward near the sun. My fingers could seem to feel and touch the hot heat waves. Then I knew that I was getting closer and closer to the sun. As time passes by, I do not know what the time and how long I was staring up at the sun. I thought I heard a voice calling my name, but I did not dear to open my eyes to look out there. Sunddenly, it was like the sky was falling down on me, a black shadow came over and block the bright light. A voice was calling my name and shaking my body at the same time. Instantly, I open my eyes and there she was, my friend Kazuag was staring straight down at me. She told me that I had fallen asleep while I was laying down on the grassy hill. She had found me twenty minutes latter and trying to wake me up. She pulled me up by my hand and we walk down the grassy hill then went home. In my thoughts everything is reachable; nothing is unreachable.
